Maps of Solar Eclipses from 1905 to 1909
The total solar eclipse of August 30, 1905 crossed Canada, Spain, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen. Numerous eclipse expeditions were sent by the British Astronomical Association, United States Naval Observatory, and other institutions as well as many eclipse tourists from Europe.
The coming total solar eclipse of August 12, 2026 follows a similar track through Spain.
